Thank you to Aimee for sending us her solution to Magic Letters.
Alison's magic v was the same as Charlie's as she used the exact same numbers as Charlie just in a different order.
Another 6 magic vs that are the same as Charlie's are:
4 2 3 2 5 3 5 4 2 3 2 4
3 5 4 5 2 4 2 3 5 4 5 3
1 1 1 1 1 1
Here are the magic V's that use the numbers 1-5 and are different to Charlie's.
4 1 2 5 5 2 1 2 4 5 2 1 5 4 1 4
2 5 4 1 1 4 5 4 2 1 4 5 1 2 5 2
3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3
4 2 1 3 3 1 2 1 4 3 1 2 3 4 2 4
1 3 4 2 2 4 3 4 1 2 4 3 2 1 3 1
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5
I know I have found them all as the bottom number of the V has to be odd as the sum of 1,2,3,4,5 =15. That means in order to split it evenly in half an odd number must be taken away.
3 and 5 are the only odd numbers between 1-5 and was not used by Charlie and since you can only move the other four branches, up, down, and across, you can only get 8 different magic V's. the same thing occurs when you use 2-6 or 3-7.
A magic V thats branches total 60 is:
19 18
21 22
20
Magic L's,N's and W's do work by using consecutive:
Magic L magic N Magic W
1
2 7 6 1 2 4
6 3 4 5 7 6 5 3
3 4 5 2 1 8 9
